I came across these Body Comfort products one day at the grocery store in our city named Dillons. We had just filled our prescriptions at the pharmacy when an announcement came over the intercom in the store talking about a free sample of a new product just hitting the market or something. Naturally I was intrigued and wanted to find out what it was about. It was a small table with a bunch of boxes of Body Comfort heat packs of different sizes. I still was not sure what they were yet but I wanted to find out. They offered a free sample! There was quite a few of us that surrounded the display table. The representative behind the table began handing out boxes of hand and feet warmers. He was telling us about the product, what it was, and how to use them. Reusable hot and cold packs. What a great idea! I have a lot of back problems that cause a lot of pain. I had been using Icy Hot ointment along with the heat patches that are disposable to try to relieve some of my pain in my lower to mid back. The representative showed us the small hand pad and a larger back pad. Inside them are special liquid and a snap disc. Some kind of reaction occurs when you snap the small nickel sized disc. Once it is snapped the liquid instantly Crystallizes into a harder form, a squeezable but firm form. I am not sure what it was about it, but I loved watching it happen. It was pretty cool to watch. The pack instantly becomes hot and gets hotter for a few seconds until it reaches to the hottest point. It stays hot for around 1 hours so. When your done with it you simply put it in a towel or wash cloth and put it in a pan of boiling water until it is back to it's original, clear liquid form with a snap disc floating around in it. He gave us each a free box of the hand and pocket warmers. Then we were offered the larger back size pack at a super discounted price. We got around $60.00 worth of products for just $10.00, what an amazing deal. I made a video showing them working it is pretty cool to watch and see the transformation happen. They put off a good amount of heat which really soothes your muscles. I use mine often when I need some good heat on my back. It saves having to buy the disposable patches which are around $5.00 a piece. My personal opinion of this product is a good one. I recommend using them for yourself as needed. I like the ease of use with the packs. They can be used as heat packs or chilled in the freezer as cold packs as well. Once you use one or two or more you simply boil them in water for around 10 minutes and take out of the pan place them on a towel to air dry and they are ready to reuse. They provide a great source for deep penetrating heat to reach down into your muscles to help relieve some aches and pain. The hand and pocket warmers would be great to use if you are heading out to go camping or maybe a sporting event outside in the cold. Check out their website for more product information and pricing. They even have a gift set that comes with 1 hand, 2 pocket, 1 back, and 1 large neck & shoulder pack for around $95.00.
