I checked on the Bhutlah Jalokia / Trinidad Doughlah pepper seedling today and I noticed it has grown quite a bit today. The leaves are almost touching the top of the seed pod cover. Tomorrow or the next day I will need to take the top off and hope for the best. The rate it is growing it will be bending against the top of the pod pretty good.
Hopefully being out in the open does not hurt it, being so small. The good thing about the Aero Garden is it constantly keeps the pod bedding sponge wet, it is a good invention for starting and growing seeds. To bad there isn't a larger one to grow the pepper plant permanently in. There is a pump inside of the machine that keeps the water cycling and flowing through the seed pod holes.
I am excited for this pepper plant to grow and produce, these peppers should be crazy hot. The listing stated the Chocolate Bhutlah pepper might be hotter than the Carolina reaper. These seed being hybrid, who know how hot they will be. Not sure how to measure the heat of the peppers. Maybe Google will have an answer for me.
Thanks for stopping by.
