I was reading a story I came across on one of my feeds about Keanu Reeves. It was a very interesting story. Usually a lot of movie stars and millionaires tend to be flashy and flaunt what they have worked so hard to achieve. They deserve it to, long hours working on movies for everyone to enjoy and much much more. They work hard and they also play hard. Most people do to. So when I came across this story about Keanu Reeves I found really interesting and pretty cool. The story mentioned about him going to several different schools as a child. He struggled with dyslexia and getting his education because of it. I know people that have struggled with Dyslexia in their lives and it is very difficult to learn and get where they wanted to be in life. Being able to overcome any form of learning disabilities is a great accomplishment. I have children that have been doing amazing growing up and made it through and working on getting through school that have some learning disabilities. I am very proud they are doing as great as they are, life is rough for everyone. Keanu's father abandoned him and his family at a young age. That is hard for a lot of people to overcome. It is hard being a parent and raising your children alone that puts stress on the whole family usually. Everyone likes having their parents around to help them and spend times growing close to. So when one or both are not there anymore it makes for a difficult situation for all. These days it seems more common to hear about there are a lot of people having to get through life with one or both parents not being there. Keanu Reees lost one of his best friends or his best friend River Phoenix when he was 23 years old to a drug overdose. Losing people takes time to get over. It makes life difficult losing people. No matter how much we all know that we are all going to die at some point, that we will never escape that fate. It does not make it any easier, you can never be prepared for losing a loved one. Keanu and Jennifer Syme met and fell in love. About a year or so later they were plagued with the birth of their daughter being still born. It ended up ripping them apart, but still friends. Then She died in a car accident about 18 months later. His sister ended up with cancer and he took care of her helping her through it. She made it through which is awesome. The story mentioned about him making a huge a donation something like 70% of his income or something to point to the cancer places. What ever the reason that is amazingly huge for anyone to do. Awesome job Keanu! I do not know anyone that would do something like that or be able to do something like that and do it. Cancer is a horrible, horrible disease. For some reason there has not been a cure. I am not sure why. Chemotherapy is about the only treatment approved and a lot of the time that treatment is just as bad or worse than the cancers, and proves fatal trying to get treated. There are a few new treatments coming out that I have heard about, but they have yet to be approved and put in place. One being Ebc-46. It has undergone an 8 years clinical trial with great success rates, supposedly no side effects as well. Yet it is still not approved and being practiced regularly. Horrible to say but at some point, it comes down to either money from big companies stopping the approval of new treatments or drugs being approved for daily use or it is a form of population control to not over populate the world. Sometimes I wonder if the big three or four types of deaths are not remaining the big three or four because of that reason. We will never know at our level of life in the world it is "way above our pay grade" so to speak. All I know is I have lost several family members and friends to cancer of one kind or another and we have an aunt battling stage 4 small cell cancer right now and it sucks watching people go through the rough times of dealing with cancer. Nothing could ever prepare someone for that. Not even seeing it a bunch of times. It is still crazy rough. The donating to cancer like that and this next part is what made me decide to write about him being such a cool guy. Even with him having all the money and fame he has and yet he still rides the subway. He also reportedly saw a woman standing there holding her bag and he jumped right up and offered her his seat. How freaking awesome is that. The story said he did not even think about it he just did it, saw her and offered her the seat. He is a real class act, a stand up guy. He is a down earth type of guy it sounds like and I think that pretty amazing for him such an awesome actor and having all that fame. He has overcome a lot hardships in his life reached his status and still is a nice guy. I just wanted to write a blog about how cool I think it that Keanu Reeves is such a nice guy and helps people like he does. He has similar reactions like myself, being nice to everyone around him as much as possible, including chivalry towards women like he did with the subway seat. In today's lingo beast mode or savage perhaps. Haha. Good job! Keanu Reeves I will always be a fan! Keep putting out awesome movies for us to watch and being such a cool guy. Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog! This is one of the stories I read from Movie Pilot . Thanks for the great story and this awesome YouTube Video about the subway trip. So cool!
